UK STAYCATION VENUES & DESTINATIONS

With the welcome return of outdoor hospitality this week there's a lot of excitement in the air for the summer ahead - UK staycations are back on the cards. With an abundance of coastal towns and country retreats, we've pulled together a few of our favourite Staycation hot spots and some brilliant venues looking forward to serving delicious drinks this summer.

Whether you're after a late afternoon Spritz, post-dinner G&T or pitcher to share with friends there's something for everyone.

BRIGHTON

Brighton Shelter Hall

New Brighton Beachfront Bar and Street Food Hall New offering a wide variety of foods from award-winning Chefs, beautiful views of Brighton Beach.

The Warren (May 27th - July 11th)

A festival-within-a-festival taking place every year in the heart of Brighton. Offering experiential escapism set amongst a variety of bars, theatres and food concessions.

Hove Place

Casual Bistro pub in the heart of Hove. With stunning Italian gardens and creative and tasty bistro food it's one of Hove’s best secrets!

Copper Clam

Located on Brighton seafront, The Copper Clam specialises in fine fresh seafood served in a relaxed environment.

The Grand Hotel

They claim a visit to The Grand Brighton is whatever you make it - with an excellent restaurant, bar and terrace you're spoilt for choice. 

MurMur

Located in The Arches on Brighton seafront overlook the West Pier, Murmur was opened to offer a different dining concept, serving healthy and honest food for lunch and dinner in a stunning beachside location. 

DEVON

The Ferry Inn - Salcombe

The Ferry Inn is a fantastic pub in Salcombe with an unrivalled position by the ferry jetty. The waterside beer garden has spectacular across Salcombe Harbour. 

South Sands Hotel

South Sands Hotel & Restaurant in Salcombe sits on a beautiful sandy beach on the Salcombe estuary.

The Blue Groove

Contemporary eatery & bar with a seaside vibe, offering a classic international menu and cocktails in the heart of Croyde

Turf Hotel - Exminster

A Pub overlooking the Exe Estuary and situated in an area of outstanding and protected natural beauty at the end of the historic Exeter Canal. The Turf Hotel has a lovely garden on the banks of the River Exe, with plenty of wildlife and an outdoor barbeque area.

Passage House Inn

Right on the Exe Estuary, with a lovely outdoor patio offering amazing views with plenty of seating - and even a nearby Ferry to take you across the water.

Pier One - Plymouth

Restaurant offering clean views of Plymouth Sound, the ever-changing weather gives the restaurant an added spectacle that can only be found in such a beautiful, coastal location

Offshore Bar & Restaurant on Torquay Harbourside is Torquays premier live music venue, as offering stunning views of the marina.

Port Gaverne Hotel - Port Isaac

This 17th-century Port Gaverne Restaurant & Hotel is nestled in a beautiful secluded cove near Port Isaac with menus changing weekly using ultra-fresh, coastal, no-ego food.

Cracking Crab - Polzeath

Heron Inn Malpas

The Heron Inn is a beautiful riverside gastropub on the outskirts of Truro, overlooking the Truro and Tresillian river where they join the river Fal. It boasts stunning views across the estuary and is accessible by both car and boat.

Norway Inn

A former coaching inn, this traditional pub is on the way into Truro. Lots of outdoor seating and award-winning carvery.

Tom Thumb

Boutique cocktail bar in Newquay with a real passion and dedication around cocktails and ingredients. We've If you can get the private room upstairs, you'll never want to leave!

Rising Sun

Harbourside pub serving great food all day, breakfast to dinner & and a family suite. Dogs welcome. Situated right on the picturesque harbour with sea views. A small fishing village nestled at the end of the Roseland peninsula. St Mawes is a lovely place to visit. Surrounded by the sea and gentle hills, St Mawes is quite spectacular!
