Blood Orange GINGER BEER

The fiery, full-bodied taste of Premium Ginger Beer, balanced with the subtle citrus flavor of Italian Blood Orange. Not too sweet on the palate and specifically made to be mixed, but equally delicious on its own.

History Timeline Background

 Cosmo’s glamorous legacy.

The Cosmopolitan, with its signature pink hue and martini-glass glamour, emerged in the 1980s as bartenders began experimenting with vodka and cranberry in a more modern, approachable way. Cheryl Cook in Miami is often credited with the first version, created for guests who wanted a drink that looked sophisticated but tasted lighter than a traditional martini, while Toby Cecchini at The Odeon in New York refined it a few years later with fresh lime juice and Cointreau, giving the Cosmo the balanced profile we know today. Its real rise to fame came in the late ’90s and early 2000s when Sex and the City turned it into a cultural icon. As the cocktail has evolved, bartenders have leaned into seasonal citrus and fresher flavors, and one of the most popular modern updates is the Blood Orange Cosmopolitan, which deepens the color and adds a richer, more vibrant citrus note that feels both elevated and perfectly in step with the Cosmo’s glamorous legacy.
