SOURCING OUR INGREDIENTS
The Fever-Tree brand was founded on the belief that the best-tasting drinks come from using the best ingredients that the world has to offer. Hand-in-hand comes understanding of the importance of biodiversity in creating these remarkable ingredients – be it quinine from the Democratic Republic of Congo, citrus from Mexico, ginger from India, or even rhubarb from Norfolk – we source the best ingredients from many corners of the earth, often using traditional farming techniques passed down from generation to generation.
TINY FOREST: SUPER TINY, SUPER POWERFUL
We recognise conservation it is not just about where we source from. It’s also about enriching biodiversity in places where our drinks are enjoyed, and where we live and work.
Environmental issues such as flooding, heat stress and loss of biodiversity are increasingly affecting urban areas. Creating thriving and climate-resilient urban areas that support economic growth, whilst also enhancing livelihoods and wellbeing, is a considerable challenge. That’s why we’re proud to have supported Earthwatch since 2020, working in partnership to develop Tiny Forests up and down the UK.
Tiny forests are small, dense, fast-growing woodlands planted in urban areas. They bring the benefits of a forest – reconnecting people with nature, helping to mitigate the impacts of climate change by absorbing carbon and pollutants, and providing nature-rich habitat patches to support urban biodiversity and wildlife – right into the heart of our cities and urban spaces.
In 2021, we planted the Fever-Tree Tiny Forest – the first ever Tiny Forest in London, regenerating otherwise derelict land in near Fever-Tree HQ. Check our Hammersmith Park Tiny Forest:
Our continued support funds Tree Keepers who engage the local community with forest planting, maintenance and analysis. Since then, the progress has been staggering! See for yourself:
