History Timeline Background

Centuries in the Making

The Mojito’s roots stretch back to 16th-century Havana, where an early drink known as El Draque combined aguardiente, lime, sugar and mint. Over time, this evolved into the modern Mojito using white rum, becoming one of Cuba’s most enduring cocktail exports.

Fresh, Balanced Flavour Profile

Defined by its perfect balance of sweet, sour and herbal notes, the Mojito pairs zesty lime with cooling mint and light rum. Effervescence adds lift, making it one of the most refreshing cocktails ever created.

The Perfect Serve

Gently muddle fresh mint with lime juice and sugar to release aroma without bitterness, add white rum and plenty of ice, then top with soda or Fever-Tree Mojito Mixer. Finish with a mint sprig and lime wedge for a crisp, authentic serve.
