Our Damson farmers, brothers Jake and Rupert are third-generation farmers based in Herefordshire. Our Damsons are handpicked from their farm in Upton Bishop by their expert team.
Once harvested, our Damsons are infused and pressed to extract the flavour. Nothing is wasted - any remaining skins or pulp is used on the farm as compost.
Liz Knight, Queen of the Hedgerows, leads a small skilled picking team to forage our Wild Sloe Berries in the foothills of the Black Mountains which sit on the border between Wales and England.
Our sloes are truly wild; Liz picks over a ton of sloes nestled in hedgerows amongst damson trees and rose bushes each harvest.
They are hand-harvested after the first frost when they are perfectly ripe.
