SICILIAN ADVENTURE WITH GIORGIO BARGIANI
In February this year embarked on a memorable trip to Sicily with Giorgio Bargiani to discover the fascinating heritage of the blood oranges that we use in our Italian Blood Orange Soda. We explored the farm of one, Agrume Puro, nestled in the foothills of Mount Etna. The farmers were friendly and hospitable 4th generation farmers who skillfully and passionately produce the blood oranges that go into our Italian Blood Orange Soda.
This trip was an incredible source of inspiration for Giorgio to create a new cocktail Sikelia a combination of flavours and stories, especially added to The Connaught Bar’s ‘Of the Moment’ menu for this summer. Sikelia is a taste of Sicily in a glass, so be sure to head to The Connaught to try it whilst you can.
